Osmund Thorsnæs was propaganda leader from 1934-37 and later circuit leader for Stavanger NSUF. He received funding to study press and broadcasting problems and propaganda in Germany. From October 1940 to April 1942 he was employed as press secretary in the Ministry of Culture. Later in the same year, he was employed as office manager in NS National Propaganda Management and as head of the Foredragsentralen.
