Kvinnehirden

Kvinnehirden or NS Kvinnehird, abbreviated NS KH, was a militarily organized organization for women associated with the fascist party Nasjonal Samling (NS) before and during the Second World War in Norway. Kvinnehirden was founded in Stavanger in 1934. The first national leader was the strongly anti-Semitic Halldis Neegaard Østbye. In 1941 Johanne Martin became herd leader, and from 1942 Randi Roberg.
