Speech in Colosseum kino, April 8, 1941: The International Clique

Kampfeller! Norwegian women and men!

We are assembled here today to listen to the address by leader Vidkun Quisling regarding the events of April 9. I am one of those who stood alongside Vidkun Quisling on April 9, and I would like to share a few introductory words. 

A man in Norway has fought tirelessly to prevent what we are experiencing today, and that is: Quisling! No man in Norway has as much right to talk about April 9 as Quisling. 

Nygaardsvold and his associates, particularly Mr. Koht, bear responsibility for the policies that led the country into catastrophe. This policy was not only stupid, it was downright a crime. It might seem that the government was both blind and deaf, unable to perceive the danger or heed the warnings from Quisling and the NS. But that is a mistake. The government was neither blind nor deaf; they simply did not want to listen to Quisling. In fact, they had already made a prior arrangement, selling out the Norwegian people to England. 

This phenomenon echoes what we have witnessed in numerous countries, and it is resurfacing in our present times. Country after country disregarded their common sense and was enticed into waging war against Germany, aligning themselves with England. Contrary to all reason, it was evident to anyone observing that these countries were destined to become victims of England. Likewise, let no one believe in the governments which one after another sacrificed their people for England, have common sense. No, they knew beforehand that they were sending their men to their deaths. They sold their brothers and sons to England. 

Is there anyone who believes that it is purely coincidental that in so many countries, their governments deliberately led their people into catastrophe? No! It was no coincidence.

The basis is, in all these countries, in all these governments, sat men who allow themselves to be ruled by an international clique, who allow themselves to be ruled by a world-wide organization, who allow themselves to be ruled by the international Jews and Freemasons. They want to rule the world and above all, they are the ones pulling the strings. They have been behind the scenes ruling over all the old parties. Here in Norway, they will never come to power again. We in NS will make sure of that.

Now in Norway, the old parties have been swept out, but through invisible channels they try to control and rule the people. They rule them against NS, against Germany and for England. England is not even fighting for England. England's leadership let England perish. England fights only for the international clique, for the plutocrats, the Jews and the Freemasons.

Today, only Vidkun Quisling fights for Norway’s interests.
